Hedge cutting in St Merryn at Trevean Caravan and Camping Park.
Just finished this deck for some lovely people in St Austell. A really satisfying job, despite the weather making it a bit stop/start. Delighted with the outcome. 🙋♂️
Building a raised deck in St Austell. Apparently, it’s lunchtime! 🦊
The ‘before’. This is a brief clip of a job that Darren, from ‘Darren’s Fencing and Landscaping’ and I took on in Polgooth several weeks ago. We were tasked with replacing the damaged, retaining wall, renewing the shed, renewing and repositioning the greenhouse, all of the fencing, removing shrubs, trimming the remaining shrub, renewing and extending the patio and pathways, building a new pergola as well as laying new turf, creating beds and planting out. It’s been my favourite project to date.

Spectacular old farm well.
Wishing you all a very belated, happy new year! 🤗
Working with Darren from Darren’s Fencing and Landscaping, we are currently on a landscaping job in St Merryn. As part of the job, we have been given the fortunate and unique opportunity of making a feature out of this amazing, Well. Although there is a 4-5 week wait on the toughened glass, it will be worth it!
Just added the right side to the entrance of this property in Mawgan Porth.
500 plus meters of stock fencing pulled up for a repeat customer. 14 struts, 1 box strut and a double gate installed. Thanks to Colin Ferkin and Rob Dorson from Colin Ferkin’s Fencing and Farm Buildings for driving all the posts, with such precision, in very hard ground. 🚜😊👍
This is a video of our completed, garden make-over (also reducing maintenance) on Porthpean Rd in St Austell. We installed a new, larger deck using 6” wide boards. We also put up a rope balustrade along the higher, raised edges. New steps with stained nosing and matching, rope balustrade. New flower bed edging using 4”x1” timber, secured with survey stakes. Membrane and five tons of 20mm golden flint chippings filled the gaps. Last but not least, we bleached the concrete pad and two patios to bring them back to life. 🤗
Our sand school extension is coming on, thanks in part to a little bit of help from this one. 🤩
Whilst we all melt a little in this heat, we are embarking on our next project. To renew the deck and set of stairs, as well as define the boarders and lay some golden flint in this garden in St Austell. 🌞👍😅
Video of ‘after’.
Recent 20m+ feather edge fence just completed for a lovely new custom in St Austell. Thank you Steven Ferkin for the recommendation.
Very proud (despite Winston the boxer dog’s footprints after a fresh harrow!). Rory’s Garden and Paddock Services has been working with Colin Ferkin’s Fencing and Farm Buildings to complete this 20x40 meter sand school in Rejarrah. With custom fencing and external landscaping complete, it awaits its first gee-gee. Pics to follow.
Good progress is being made with Colin from Colin Ferkin Fencing and Farm Building on this large scales project. A 20x40 meter sand school for customers in Rejarrah. ☀️
Worked on two new gardens today. Despite restricted access, came away from the first one with a trailer load of green waste, having reduced several small trees. More is to be done there next month. The second, a glorious little courtyard garden in the heart of Lostwithiel (listen to the birds!), had its slabs and shed power washed along with some other maintenance work. No job too small for Rory’s Garden and Paddock Services. 👍
