While staying at Montagu’s why not plan a visit to 🦅

It’s a great place to visit young or old. You can see the love and care the owners have for the animals and you can even get to see some of the birds in the flying displays that they put on which are very informative.

When you come on holiday at Montagu’s we offer a fully equipped kitchen so it is easy to cook meals just like you were at home ( but of course there are some great places to eat out aswell !!)

Montagu’s Harrier Lodge is a stunning timber lodge nestled in beautiful woodland within easy access of the A39 so is in a great location to explore lots of Cornwall. We are dog and kid friendly.

There is parking for 2 cars on your private driveway with ev charger available for fee. There is a wonderful, spacious decking area for outside dining. A garden area and a communal lawn give you plenty of space for both children and pets to work off any excess energy.
Montagu’s sleeps 6 over 3 bedrooms ( + 1 infant in travel cot) and is all on one level with step free access. There is a family bathroom and also a en-suite with walk in shower.
Check in is on a Saturday (with Monday- Friday booking available in off peak times . )

We have made it through winter, spring is on its way and the days are getting longer. 💐

What are you most looking forward to in the coming months? I definitely can’t wait for more evenings like this soaking up the last moments of sun before it sets 🌅

The poppies at West Pentire are a sight to behold. In May & June the fields are awash with these beautiful red flowers. It’s definitely a great day out and you can add a visit to Poly Joke beach while you are there.

Over the New Year break we ventured over to St Agnes to try out . They serve absolutely stunning South Indian food that is delicious 😋.

They also have a restaurant in Fowey and Lostwithiel , it was definitely worth the trip 😊

Welcome to Montagu’s Harrier 👋🏻

We absolutely love our unique house sign that was made by a local Cornish artist .

Kezzy makes some absolutely beautiful ceramics inspired by Cornish wildflowers. 🌺 Her mugs and dinnerware is just gorgeous.

Go check her out and if your local to Cornwall you can sometimes find her in st Ives markets .
