Out of season the sky is blue and the sea is lively and the air is so fresh! This is the walk along to the Man’s Head minute from the flat, looking back to the Island and Porthmeor.

This is Mousehole… a few miles across the moor from St Ives. We visited early on Saturday morning to avoid the crowds and the heat! If you park just outside Mousehole you can quite easily walk in. You will pass some steps on your left down to the sea and a little natural pool that’s great to swim in. So refreshing. And from there it’s a short stroll into the harbour. I’d recommend the coffee at the little Hole Foods Deli on the front where all their cakes are delicious and gluten free. 🙂 And then you can amble around this beautiful little harbour village…before returning to the peaceful haven of Horizon 😎

Horizon is in the perfect spot to wander down to the beach through the grave yard! Such a fantastic view. And if you just want to chill in the flat you can still see the views, captured in the artwork on the walls 🙂

Just a short stroll from Horizon is this beautiful beach… it’s also the inspiration for for the name of the flat… a perfect place to take a deep breath and unwind 💙
