🌟 To start the New Year we wanted to say a special thank you to our wonderful Housekeeper, Kitty! 🌟

We’re so lucky to have Kitty taking care of our changeovers at Salcombe Holiday Cottage, ensuring everything is spotless and welcoming for each guest. She’s absolutely invaluable to us!

Today four of the RNLI Fleet of Tamar Class Lifeboats paid their respects and remembered those who lost their lives on the 27th October 1916, when thirteen lifeboat crew perished on the Bar.

Staying at the cottage over the Autumn and Winter months this year will be more special than ever because the town is set to welcome the Salcombe Field of Light (5th October 2024 – 10th January 2025).

In celebration of the RNLI’s 200th anniversary, the world-renowned artist Bruce Munro has generously donated the Salcombe Field of Light to the RNLI and our community. This stunning art installation is intended to raise funds for RNLI Lifeboats and to support the vital work of our volunteer crews.

Visitors are invited to enjoy the breathtaking display free of charge, with viewing points available along the entire Salcombe Harbour front including from the terrace of number 9!
