The Final Chapter of my Australian Adventure! 🇦🇺

A quick roundup of my final days Down Under, as I’ve just left Perth and am on my way home! ✈️

Here’s what I got up to in Brisbane…After touching down we headed straight to the iconic to meet some adorable locals. 🐨💚 Then, we made our way to the stunning —the perfect place to relax for our final days.

For our final trip, it was off to for a once-in-a-lifetime experience at the Tangalooma Wrecks. Originally, our itinerary was to explore the island by 4WD, but the adventure got even better when it was changed to a helicopter ride! 🚁

This trip I’ve spent plenty of time in the air, from a seaplane in Sydney to a hot air balloon in Alice Springs, and now flying high over Tangalooma—it’s been incredible!

The helicopter ride was our final activity before a memorable goodbye dinner, followed by packing for the journey home. ✈️

After waking up on our final day it was time to head to the airport and a 5.5-hour flight from Brisbane to Perth, then the 16-hour direct flight to London, landing just in time for Gaby’s birthday on Sunday! 🎉🎂

The last of Uluru and Alice Springs 🇦🇺

After a really great time at Uluru, we hit the road and made our way to Alice Springs, where we spent the afternoon at Alice Springs Desert Park and got to experience a bird show. 🦅

The next morning we were up bright and early for something I was really excited for - a hot air balloon ride over the Red Centre. 🌅

Once we were back safely on the ground it was time to say goodbye to the outback and hello to our next destination… Brisbane! ✈️

Day 5 Down Under 🥾

Now anyone that knows me you’re going to love what you’re about to read…

Today was an early start (me + early mornings?!) to head to Uluru for a 6 hour (12km) trek. Yes that’s right today is all about trekking 🌄

As many of you know, I’m not the biggest fan of walking, so tackling this trek was a huge achievement for me.

After working up an appetite, we refueled with lunch at Gecko’s Cafe 🥪

The adventure continued in the afternoon with another 3-hour trek at Kata Tjuṯa Domes, taking in the views and unique landscapes. 🌿

To finish off the day, we were treated to an unforgettable evening at the Wintjiri Wiru Sunset Dinner, where we enjoyed a gourmet picnic hamper dinner while watching an incredible sound and light show by drones over Uluru.

It’s been a busy, action-packed few day, so it’s off to bed to get some sleep before moving on tomorrow with a scenic 5-hour drive to Alice Springs.

We’ll be exploring Alice Springs Desert Park upon arrival, so stay tuned for more stories!

Days 3 & 4 in Australia: Goodbye Sydney, Hello Uluru 🇦🇺

If you saw my Day 2 post you’ll know we were off to do something exciting…but did you guess what?

Well day 3 kicked off with a scenic flight over Sydney—and guess what? I spotted a humpback whale from the air! 🐋 The flight has been my highlight so far!

After that, we headed to for a surf lesson 🏄‍♀️ (I played camera lady this time, capturing everyone else in action).

We wrapped up the morning with lunch at —so delicious! Then came a special treat—dinner at The Crown, complete with a tour of the suite where Taylor Swift stayed! 🎤

Day 4 was time to wave goodbye to Sydney and fly to Uluru—we had lunch and spent the evening experiencing the magical A Field of Light. (Notice the coat? It’s freezing!! 🥶)

Tomorrow’s a 5am start for something exciting—any guesses what’s on the agenda? 🥾

G’day from Australia! 🇦🇺

A quick update for you all…It’s been a whirlwind since I landed, and I’ve already packed so much into just two days! Here’s a little roundup of what I’ve been up to:

**Day 1**
After arriving in Sydney, there was no time to waste—we went straight to the Blue Mountains. The views were great, and we took in the sights on the Scenic Skyway, Cableway, and Railway. We even had a delicious two-course lunch at the Hydro Majestic Hotel before heading back to Sydney. The day ended with dinner at Cafe Sydney, where we enjoyed the stunning view of the Sydney Harbour Bridge all lit up.

**Day 2**
While the others started with a Sydney Harbour Bridge climb, I made the most of my free time with a Big Bus Tour around the city—a perfect way to see the sights. Later, we regrouped for a tour and lunch at the Sydney Opera House. The day wrapped up with a private harbour cruise and a 3-course dinner—absolutely magical!

An Incredible Thai Island Hopper West Adventure 🌴✨

When I posted about Gaby’s trip to Bali 6 years ago, I couldn’t believe the reaction it got! So, I thought I’d share her first trip to Thailand back in 2018 with you all and remind you that I can help arrange solo travel adventures, complete with tours and excursions!
