Facing Tides Theatre

Facing Tides Theatre Theatre in Education including Therapeutic Theatre and workshops addressing issues of mental health, trauma and addiction.

It is our aim to provide schools and youth organisations with professional active learning experiences. Our vision is to work with pupils at PHSE Key Stage 3 and 4 and the wider circle of adults involved in their well-being. The initiative is to break open taboos and stigmas associated with addictive behaviours and allow opportunities to talk openly about these issues. Through drama and workshops

we will:

Offer the chance to explore the subject of addiction;
Enable participants to express fears in a safe environment;
Provide professional help and resources for participants and associated others in understanding addiction;
Highlight the valuable work of charities such as Action on Addiction and the National Association of Children Of Alcoholics (NACOA).
