Our newly installed and custom made gates were looking fab just last week at sunrise ☀️ Fitted to our rounded step they are the perfect finish for the end of the courtyard. Thanks to Steve from for making them!

I hope you all had a wonderful Bank Holiday weekend! We’ve had a run of stays here that have been keeping use busy but next week it’s the lead up to a wedding so the place will be getting a spruce in preparation! ☀️

Running from 30th May - 1st June it is an all inclusive two night yoga and meditation retreat guided by and and set in the beautiful surrounding of the Lodge. For more information or to book your place get in touch with either Suzanne or Sharon directly!

We never shared a full photo of our newest addition that went in last week. A giant outdoor table made by from wood felled and milled on the farm.
It was enjoyed by our last party of guests during the heatwave last week! ☀️

The sun has come out for the weekend and we’re all ready for a wedding! Beds are made, hot tub is filled, The Dutch Barn is set up and ready and we’ve finished installing the giant outside table on the terrace. Plenty of excitement to come! ☀️☀️☀️

Thankful for the rain last night as we have just planted 20 trees down at the lodge including, Cherry, Hawthorn, Field Maple, Crab Apple and Silver Birch plus a Willow for our Willow ❤️
Can’t wait to see them all grow!

Here they finally are! The alliums have arrived after a burst of sun and a few showers. In other exciting news we placed an order for 20 trees that will be planted around the grounds as soon as they arrive. Lots to look forward to over the coming years with those!

Yesterday we finally got these two Kashmiri embroidered hangings up on the wall. After much searching these were discovered online and shipped all the way from Pakistan. Barney spent the morning balancing on a ladder to fix them in place but they’re up and looking great!

It has been said that you can experience all four seasons in one day in the UK. Today, within 27 minutes, we have had sun, hail, rain and snow and plenty of strong winds! The weather gods have not been kind to us lately, but after having been left without power for almost five days (now luckily restored), we put on our problem solving hats and quickly learned how to operate differently so that we could ensure our guests will have their holiday weekend as planned. We are reminded that our local village of Fovant is full of great people offering an abundance of help and advice and we thank them all! Couldn’t resist dusting off the drone this evening to capture the barns in this beautiful sunset. With the turn of seasons, it couldn’t be a better time to open up our doors again and we are greatly looking forward to welcoming our first guests for the year next month. Fingers crossed for sunsets like these..
