🌟 "We had a lovely stay in this cottage. We booked very last minute and Zena was super helpful.

The cottage is fab and has everything you need. We were particularly impressed with the bedding and lovely, soft towels. We also loved the log burner and the really well equipped kitchen.

The cottage sits on the edge of a forest with great walks for us and the dog. It is also very close to the coast." - Jemma

Surf’s up in Saltburn ☀️🌊

A visit to Staithes, a charming fishing village rich in history. Once one of the busiest fishing ports on the North Yorkshire coast & home to James Cook! We love the cobbled streets, alleys and ginnels that you can explore in this traditional seaside town. Not only that, it’s a great spot for rock pooling on low tide too 🦀

Mornings by the North Yorkshire coast 😍 It was well worth making a visit to Saltburn Beach this morning to witness this sunrise.

Miners Lamp Cottage

Hi and welcome to Miners Lamp Cottage, a cosy 2-bed holiday home situated in the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside 🥰 Run by three generations of the family, many of the antiques and furniture are sourced at local markets, tailored to suit the traditional and rustic style (We will share some of the fine details soon!). Dogs are welcome, we have a small enclosed yard at the rear of the property, there is also a nice park in the hamlet. Entrance to the North York Moors is literally at the end of the road, with Saltburn (6.7 miles), Whitby (19 miles) & Staithes (12.7 miles) only a short drive away. We will be sharing lots of recommendations on things to do and places to visit in the area, so keep your eyes peeled for more content :)
