Over the last few months, Stay Pembrokeshire has been working through the process to sponsor foreign workers for employment here in the UK, and we have now received official approval from the Home Office. As we progressed, we grew close to one community and found out that they did not have access to running water. Watching this video truly saddens us, but it serves as a powerful reminder that seemingly minor things (which we often overlook) can mean the world to other people. We extend our gratitude to the small community that shared this video with us as a token of their appreciation for getting them running water once again.

We're doing our very best here at Stay Pembrokeshire, updating our hanging baskets and chimney pot flowers in preparation for Saundersfoot in Bloom, this July. Thanks to Jan(ice) 🤣, our Laundrette Manager, for all the hard work she has put in so far, you're a star 🌟

There are some amazing hanging baskets and flower displays around Saundersfoot. We know we will not be in the running, but it's the teamwork and seeing the community come together as one that counts. So well done everyone!

Stay Pembrokeshire has just finished its first internship in collaboration with Greenhill School.

I am pleased to introduce you to Daniel Izzard. Daniel is presently pursuing his A-levels at Greenhill, focusing on Business, Mathematics, Physics, and the Welsh Baccalaureate.

The goal of this programme was to provide Daniel with an understanding of Stay Pembrokeshire's day-to-day activities, to acquire business knowledge and experience before starting university.

What a wonderful community effort! The Tenby Chamber of Trade recently organised a successful meeting with Samuel Kurtz MS (Member of Parliament & Shadow Minister for Economy & Energy) and Stephen Crabb (Member of Parliament for Preseli, Pembrokeshire) to delve into crucial topics such as tourism, the economy, the 182-night parameter, and their potential long-term effects on our local economy, businesses, and employment. It was an honour for me to deliver the opening speech, sharing insightful real-time data on the occupancy statistics of the 5,900 holiday homes I monitor in Pembrokeshire.

During our discussions, an unexpected opportunity emerged to introduce Discover Pembrokeshire C.I.C. to all participants. Discover Pembrokeshire is a non-profit community interest company dedicated to promoting businesses in Pembrokeshire (both directly and indirectly linked to tourism) through the advancement of cutting-edge systems and technologies, with a focus on automation. As a non-profit entity, all proceeds generated will be reinvested back into the community to enrich our remarkable destination and offerings.

In October 2019, we set up PPM, known as Stay Pembrokeshire. We launched the company on December 24th that year after thorough research and development, opting for cutting-edge global systems. Nearly at our 5-year mark, we now manage close to 350 properties, aiming for sales of almost £10m this year. We proudly maintain partnerships with our initial tech providers, selected carefully.
