🤓 Know the rules and stand your ground! 🤓

One of our staff members yesterday was refused boarding her flight by BA. She was told that her passport was no longer valid. Of course it was! She knows the rules and stood her ground and was finally allowed to board and is now enjoying her well deserved holiday. Others wouldn't have been so lucky and would have had to go home.

There have been several recent incidents where passengers were wrongly denied boarding because airline staff misinterpreted/misunderstood passport regulations.

For example, two British Airways passengers were denied boarding at London Gatwick due to incorrect assumptions about passport validity requirements for the U.S. and Spain. If you find yourself in a similar situation, here are some steps you can take:

Stay Calm and Polite: It’s important to remain calm and polite when dealing with airline staff.

Ask for a Supervisor: Request to speak with a supervisor or manager who might have a better understanding of the regulations.

Contact Customer Service: If the issue isn’t resolved at the airport, contact the airline’s customer service for further assistance.

Document Everything: Keep records of all communications and any expenses incurred due to the delay or denial for a claim to be made.

Good morning,
I am writing to say how wonderful the holiday you have recently sent us on! Where do I start...'Your Perfect Travel' is exactly that, from the start of booking to the return! What an amazing adventure we had, the flights, transfers and hotel just blew our minds! Firstly, thank you to the whole team for making our experience luxurious and memorable. Honestly you have out done yourselves! Not only was the hotel exactly as beautiful as you said you somehow managed to get a beach to return after I mentioned there wasn't one (an act of God or Norma who knows) no I haven't gone mad! The next day the hotel had cleared a space, put sand down, loungers out and a water fountain!! We met some great people who had also booked with Norma and are now good friends, so thank you for sending them as well. Then being a general pain from half way round the world at the last minute we wanted to change our booking to spend the last day in Bangkok...to much trouble some would say but no not for you Norma. Our booking was changed including transfer and hotel for yet another mini adventure! Truly a special travel company who we will continue to use and have booked a further two holidays with, which we are extremely excited about!
We would advise if anyone is thinking about booking a holiday to visit this team first!
