Places to get a good Coffee ☕️ & Cake🍰 whilst enjoying your stay at Freyr Whitby

Great place for a coffee and gorgeous cake. Perfect for a walk in the forest … 🌳 pack your walking boots 🥾 and head over to Falling Foss, approx 15 minute drive from Whitby .. Even doggie friendly , Falling Foss Waterfall Tea Garden.
A great waterfall to see and possibly a paddle in the river if it’s a fine day ..🌞
Take five minutes to read the history board, quite interesting!
Check times and days of opening before heading down but certainly worth a visit .. 🌼 watch out for our next place to find good cake!

Are you a morning person who loves to watch a beautiful sunrise, or do you prefer to see the sunset at the end of the day? If you visit Whitby you can wander up to the west cliff and be lucky enough to experience both. 🌅

Whitby, despite being on the East coast actually faces due North, and its geography can seem quite confusing without having a map to hand. It is one of the only places where at certain times of the year you can see the sun rise and set over the sea. It’s stunning ☀️

Looking for a Xmas break away 2023. Freyr is situated in Whitby & is only a short walk away from the centre of the town. Close to the beach for a winters walk, and is a short drive away from some beautiful views and walks for those cold crispy Xmas days.

Freyr is a very popular family holiday home, we have had the pleasure of meeting some lovely people from all over the world and we have some great reviews and a lot of returning guests.
New to Airbnb in 2023 we hope to welcome more guests that will all so enjoy their holiday in Whitby whilst staying here at Freyr.

Beautiful day here in whitby today, sun 🌞 is shinning at last.
Great place to visit whilst staying at Freyr is Ruswarp pleasure boats, (ten minute drive from the house) you can also you can have coffee after at the riverside cafe, two minute walk from the boat house.
Ruswarp is on bus route if you want to leave your car at the property or even walkable distance for those of you who like to stretch your legs. Even a delightful pub in ruswarp too!
Availability at the cottage in May June and the summer holidays in July and august .
Freyr is a very popular cottage and is a lovely place to stay for a family holiday.

Freyr is a charming house located in North Yorkshire fishing town of whitby. The property sleeps 4 people in two bedrooms, double and one twin, both with en-suite facilities. One bathroom has a shower and the other with bath and over head shower.

On the ground floor there is a cloak room with WC and hand basin, fully equiped kitchen and a comfortable lounge diner. Patio doors lead out to a charming garden with decking and an outside dinning area.
