As a result of modern living it is a sad fact that today's children now experience fewer opportunities to have fun outside exploring nature and getting dirty. Modern living sees a heavy reliance on safe, supervised indoor activities often involving screens and with this comes the loss of autonomous adventuring among children. . Outdoor play promotes physical activity, prevents obesity in later lif
e and the fresh air has proven to reduce the risk of illnesses and infection. At ' I learn Education' through our ethos of learning through play, children are encouraged to take appropriate risks, make mistakes and learning a great deal from adventurous play. I Learn Education also encourage non gender specific play, challenging stereotypes, giving them freedom to explore and learn without judgement. We aim for “life readiness”, not only equipping them academically but to have strong social skills, being able to cope emotionally with being separated from their parents, to have independence in their own personal care, have a curiosity about the world and a desire to learn. So expect your child to come home dirty, happy & having learnt a great deal!
