It’s going to be a great Halloween — we can feel it in our bones ☠️! Who else is excited for lots of skele-fun this half term. Our famous Scarycrow Trail is back from this Monday 28 October 2024 until 3 November 2024.

Follow the trail of weird and wonderful ‘Scarycrows’ around the villages at Ford & Etal, awarding them scores as you go. Pick up a trail map and score sheet from one of the village shops, Heatherslaw railway and the Visitor Centre at Heatherslaw, or you can download a trail map here ⬇️ before your visit

There is no charge for this event but, if you can, please give a donation for the trail map and score sheet, as all proceeds will be given to Cash For Kids Borders and North Northumberland.

It’s our annual volcano night in Alnmouth today.
Build a sandcastle set it on fire. Last fire standing when the tide comes in wins 🔥
The air thick with smoke and sea. Lots of teams frantically to build the largest pyre before the tide comes in.
