Oh no rope swing
Think we’ll have to put the rope swing out of action until we get a new rope and climb the tree to renew it 😬
We hope you have as much energy and enthusiasm for your week ahead as this 😂 (Sound on for full effect)
Retreats
I’m updating retreats on our website page so make sure you send me your details if you are running one here, so people can find your retreat and book on 🙏💚
Do you have morning routines?
I don’t have a morning routine that is the same every day, but this was Friday. No guests in and sun out so a bit of barefoot in the garden.
What is your morning like today?
Fancy a walk in this garden? Come and stay with a group and enjoy the views.
Happy Moments
I thought long and hard for a couple of days about if to post this, but sod it …
You can walk to places like this from St Marks Stays
Our Garden
Our garden this month. Watch to the end
You could be experiencing this if you grab a space on our More Than Exist Retreat. Open water swimming in a spot like this is just one of the activities on offer. All safely with knowledgeable instructors and encouragement if you are new to this.
Look left and the stile is just down behind the tree for the fell path.
Don't forget to look for the ruin on your way back from the waterfall though as the path splits in to two and it is easy to miss the path back down to the stile.
How to get to the stile and the path from the river bridge near us, so you can then choose to walk along the path to either Sedbergh, or Cautley Spout waterfall. Diagonally up the hill towards the ruin and then go over the little hump on the left to find the fence and the stile.
No Mow
It may not be a wildflower meadow but leaving a section of the lawn free from mowing does feel like summer is here
