Hurry up Spring....we're eagerly awaiting!
Depending on how healthy the lamb is and on the weather conditions, a lamb can go outside as little as 12 hours after being born. Makes my day to see them bouncing around the fields!
It's going to be super busy from March. We have a few weekends still available at Howgills House and Howgills Barn.
Wishing you all a happy new year.

Our first prize draw....congratulations Claire.
In the run up to Christmas we'll be pulling a name out of a hat every day of past guests that have stayed with us. A Yorkshire baked goody will wing it's way to the winners. Watch our fb video to find out more.......
And apologies, we have sacked the shaky camera man (AKA Nigel!😁)

One of the most beautiful sounds that can be heard echoing through the hills and valleys is the timeless melody of church bells. Visit Sedbergh
Belated birthday wishes to Nigel. Any guests that have stayed with us will appreciate this video!
A walk down to the hot tubs at Howgills House
We have 2 hot tubs under a seeded roof canopy at Howgills House. The fence is glazed, so you can enjoy 'soaking up nature' as you watch the wildlife in the fields....I can't wait for you to enjoy this once we are open!
Lambs by Howgills Barn
We hope everyone is doing ok during this horrible time. We're closed but are lucky enough to enjoy watching the shinnanigans of the lambs in the field leading to the Barn. Hope this springs a smile to your day.
