Swipe to 3rd pic to see, Storm Éowyn has caused us a little problem this morning… knocking one of the telegraph poles to a 45 degree angle in the field next to the access route to The Old Parlour. Northern Powergrid have deemed it unsafe to drive under as the electric wires could fall at any point. However, Northern Powergrid are doing all they can and a new pole is on its way! Luckily our guests (arriving today) have been super understanding, it’s one of those things we can’t predict. So lucky to have such lovely, understanding guests. ❤️

Just wanted to say a massive THANK YOU to all of our new, old and regular guests, we are so lucky to have bookings up to 2026….! Can’t quite believe it and I might be biased but I do think we have the nicest, friendliest guests ever! Reading the guest book when starting a changeover makes me smile every time with the kind words left 🥰 So lucky!

We have had the BEST week staying at The Old Parlour at Fair Oaks Farm🎄🩷 a real home from home and super dog friendly! 🐾
We loved it so much, we’ve booked to come back next December for our pre Christmas holiday! 🎄☃️
It’s the most dog friendly place we have stayed & would highly recommend it 🥰 we booked this holiday last December and it was definitely worth the wait! 🥰
