More corporate client's for a well known local business

Just to let people out there know, as I've heard rumours that some taxi driver's are trying to charge double on bank holidays, this is not the case, the only time double tariff is applicable is Xmas and New year time, so if they do try and charge you more, take a picture of the taxi plate which is on every side of the vehicle, and report it to the council.

Just to make the general public aware, Selby District Council have changed our taxi tariffs, this is being applied as of this Friday, 18th November, the first pay increase since April 2018.

I'd estimate the cost to be around £45/50 area depending on the traffic......

Apologies if you think I may be wrong here.

A woman rings me, can I have a taxi for 5 people please, 2 adults, 3 children.

Sorry I only have 4 seats in the vehicle I'm in tonight.

Well that will do, the kids are 13, 12 and 9, we only need 4 seats!

So where's the 5th person going to sit then? Every passenger needs a seat and a seat belt?

Unfortunately, the disregard for your own children's safety isn't something that sits comfortably with me, nor will I stand by and break the law, risking my licence, and more importantly, my livelyhood just for a few quid.

Honestly, you couldn't write some of the questions that I get asked.......
