Great way to come and explore the area 🏞

Good news!

A replacement for the DalesRail service will commence on Saturday, June 8th and run twice each Saturday throughout the year. The service will be known as The Yorkshire Dales’ Explorer not DalesRail. The train will start from Rochdale and run to Ribblehead via Manchester Vic, Bolton & Clitheroe then return to Blackburn before returning to Ribblehead in the early evening to return to Rochdale. Details of the timetable will be available in due course.

A guided walks’ programme will be provided by Lancashire Rail Ramblers.
