I wanted to share my camera roll of the amazing solar flare from Friday night in Kent.

I count myself as truly blessed to have seen this amazing natural phenomenon, which was a bucket list item for me. But the best part was waking up my sons, watching their blurry eyes light up as they looked at the night sky. Seeing the world through their eyes is something I never take for granted.

Recently, I’ve really been thinking about what draws us to want to seek certain experiences.

I believe it’s this unwavering desire we have to achieve anything in life, like our career goals, family goals, or fitness goals. We are drawn to them by this internal force that tells us to go after them. It’s the things that get us excited, and our body just feels this unbelievable amount of adrenaline thinking about it. It’s an internal recognition of what our soul perceives as attainment.

So, when someone comes to me and says, 'Soni, can you help me plan this bucket list adventure,' I am honored. We are constantly distracted by some latest trend, special offer, or just simply filtered into a list that is generated by the web. But when ‘people use people’ for their expertise of making this happen, it becomes real, actionable, and realized.

R E M I N D E R 💭

Remember when looking through brochures at a maximum of two pictures per place sent your imagination wild?

When seeing deals on teletext was actually so exciting. You visioned it first then you saw it!

Now we have TikTok and Instagram reels that sometimes make us feel that’s what our holidays should look like.

Cue reel: flying on a swing through a jungle in a fancy dress and definitely a size zero !!!! 😫

I’m as guilty as anyone.

So for anyone feeling stressed that they can’t find their perfect insta holiday remember that pictures that are most perfect to us when they remind us of a lovely feeling or a memory that we once made.

Don’t stress over perfection, time well spent is the best time. If you need help, I will help anyone looking to make new memories with care and attention to what’s important to you.
