Monthly Migration Update 🐾
The migration continues with crossings still occurring at the Mara River. The herds are criss-crossing the river as rain falls in different regions, creating some spectacular viewing. Whilst the crossing may appear like an uncalculated frenzy, researchers believe that a herd of wildebeest possess ‘swarm intelligence,’ systematically exploring and overcoming the obstacle as one single unit.
Make sure to follow us to follow along with our Monthly Migration Updates, and see the herds as they begin to make their annual move to the southern regions of the Serengeti.

NIGHT DRIVE
If you found the daytime game drives thrilling, just wait until the sun goes down—that’s when the real excitement begins! In East Africa you will depart from camp shortly after dinner, yet in Southern Africa don't be surprised to carry on your afternoon game drive into the night after sundowners.
Using a spotlight, your expert guide will look for eye-shine in the hope of locating some of Africa's nocturnal creatures such as honey-badgers, porcupines and civets. This is also the time when the big cats and hyenas are most active. Not all locations can offer night drives so if this is something of interest, contact us.
