🦁Serengeti National Park, Tanzania
From the height of Kilimanjaro our clients moved on to the Northern Serengeti, where they witnessed the awe-inspiring wildebeest migration. In the midst of the action, they found relaxation in the daily sundowners, soaking in the sounds of the bush.

🌊Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
Experiencing the falls by both foot and helicopter, our clients enjoyed the full grandeur of this natural wonder from every angle.

“Once again, Africa Odyssey have pulled it out the bag.”

Last month, our wonderful client embarked on her first solo journey through the landscapes of East Africa, with some unforgettable memories made.

🐾Tanzania Highlights:

Starting in Northern Serengeti, she was treated to stunning views of the Great Migration just an hour after her arrival! She also spotted majestic giraffes, playful hippos, and even a beautiful female leopard. The second morning kicked off with a magical hot air balloon ride, followed by a celebratory champagne breakfast. As the sun set, she enjoyed a refreshing beer while listening to the enchanting symphony of animal calls—what a perfect way to end each day!

🌿 Uganda Adventure:

Her journey continued to Buhoma Lodge in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, where luck was on her side—she found gorillas within just 5 minutes of leaving the lodge! As well as two gorilla hikes, our client also embarked upon an aquatic exploration, including a boat trip on Lake Victoria and canoeing through Mabamba Swamp, our client experienced firsthand just why this area of Uganda is referred to as a “twitcher’s paradise," even catching sightings of the iconic shoebill stork.

Africa Expert Sam Hankss shares his top highlights from a recent trip exploring the hidden gems of western Tanzania.

Sam's adventure began in Katavi National Park, Tanzania’s third-largest park and a hidden gem. Known for its vast, untouched wilderness, Katavi is home to the world’s largest herds of buffalo. Staying at Nomad’s remote Chada Camp, Sam had sweeping views over the expansive Chada floodplain.

Happy World Rhino Day 2024 🦏 💚

Today, we celebrate two of Africa’s most iconic and endangered species – the Black Rhino and the White Rhino. These majestic animals are symbols of resilience, but they need our protection now more than ever.
