If you are ever in Christchurch do visit the Church it’s honestly bigger than some cathedrals I have been in the original church again dating to the 11th century the graveyard filled with ancient tombs and simply fantastic inside .
A large portion of the spades floor are tomb slabs and I have done a separate post following with just a small selection of tgem

A small tumbled piece of bone close to other bone found at Compton Bay and again a brown colour

First find of the day at Comptonbay , was unsure it was bone so bashed it , now you can see the fantastic bone structure in it , and unlike most bone found on the Island brown rather than the normal black bone
