The energy and great atmosphere continued into Saturday and Sunday at our Scarborough weekender. A really good turnout for the morning workshops and Saturday night brought us great entertainment and live music from Paul James (PJ) and Robert Lindsay kept the floor filled with a wide variety of fab toons.

Sunday at our Bank Holiday Weekender in Harrogate brought us a well attended workshop with some great teaches from Karl and a bit of social dancing in between.
Sunday night saw the Promenade Suite with splashes of colour as guests arrived for the beach party themed evening. Richard Palmer provided us with 2 excellent sets (apologies for my attempts at singing, don’t worry, I won’t give up my day job!)
Biiiig thanks to the multi talented Karl Harry Winson, DJ/Host/choreographer/instructor/singer who did a superb job all weekend ☺️
Mahoosive shout out to all of you who came to support our last KingsHill event at the beautiful Cairn Hotel, it’s the end of an era for a lot of us as The Cairn holds a lot of memories for so many of us 😔

A bit late with “the rest of the photos”drop from an absolutely awesome KingsHill weekend at the beautiful Midland Hotel in Bradford ☺️
A couple of celebrations held on Saturday including a milestone birthday for Hazel Roulson and then the piece de resistance, was the presentation of the Crystal Boot to Glynn Rodgers for the improver dance of the year, “when you’re drunk” (co-choreographed with one of our fab hosts, Heather Barton). Joining us for the celebration was Kelly McCall who gave us 2 fantastic sets and the dancing and the singing continued into the early hours of Sunday morning 😁
Workshops on both Saturday and Sunday morning were well attended and Karl did an absolutely sterling job throughout the weekend, with so much energy, I was exhausted just watching him 😧

***KINGSHILL FOCUS ON DARLINGTON***
Did you know .... The Stockton and Darlington Railway opened on September 27, 1825, connecting places, people, communities and ideas and ultimately transforming the world. 2025 celebrates 200 years since it's opening and there will be dozens of activities, events and celebrations in communities along the 26-mile line.
The Darlington “Brick Train” was opened on Monday, 23rd June 1997 by Lord Palumbo of Walbrook and is situated next to Morrisons on Morton Park Industrial Estate. Modelled on the 1938 record setting, 126mph steam locomotive “Mallard”.
One of KingsHill's most recent addition to our selection of hotels is The Mercure Darlington Kings Hotel. Located in the heart of Darlington, it is arguably one of the towns most iconic buildings dating back to Victorian times. The property was lovingly restored in 2012 after a devastating fire and now houses 83 guestrooms, 4 versatile meeting rooms and the magnificent Kings Ballroom, stunning cocktail bar and restaurant.
