Happy new year from me to my ickle furries. 2024 has seen a big growth in mini liveries and I love working with them. Mad you say?! But they have such characters. From woodchip areas to new track livery it is always fun seeing these little ones thrive.

A great week for Patchy standard Shetland here on livery. We have been lami free since here on livery in her woodchip paddock.
She has been over months building up from 5 min daily grazing to 30min grazing time. Now with her boots/pads off, vet, farrier all clear she is now out during the day with resident puzzle for the winter period. Then on to mini track livery. Fantastic news, hard work and patience’s for this little one. Welldone Patchy!

Here we go …. Winter prepping

Our little Liveries having woodchip top ups on their shelter paddocks.

Woodchip paddocks have been working so well for them. No grass growing so can keep an eye on intake. Softness for walking on making our patchy have no more padded insoles and shoes on. Get for management for laminitis recovery and continuation.

We have started a mini track livery. I’ve always wanted to do one. Seems to be working very well. I see them walking lots and sharing hays. Also enjoying some grassy patches and hedge rows to forage

Our eldest little man of 24 years looking great. Little lenard has EMS, cushions and some allergies. He is here with his own shelter, woodchip paddock, strict weight controlled haylage and timed grass turnout

Our beautiful holiday makers are back with us while their owners have some time off. Prepping own home paddocks and resting. Ready for their return. Love seeing these guys again and they knew exactly where their paddock was. Home from home holiday package livery

Im very happy we came 3rd in a big class today of big horses for best grass/stable kept. Proud moment as this little one lives out in a herd 24/7 on grass. Lots of management, stripe grazing and rotation. Taking pride on this achievement as super hard to keep that weight just right with a mini on grass. Welldone little man 🙂
