Sunday saw our competition winner plus some of his pals join 2 brothers and Rocket Ralph for some Peak fun.
Unfortunately Rocket Ralph left us early with a fractured sternum, chest protector next time matey get well soon.
We can't highlight enough good body armour, the Peaks are mostly rocks of every size so not very forgiving but we think it was his own fist hitting himself on this occasion.
Plenty of lanes ridden, we saw a Trial event on from Hawks Nest and many trials bikes heading over the Three Shires, upon speaking to a woman whilst leading I stopped for her and said "a few bikes about", she replied ' it's kind of ruining our day'! WOW, if you can't share don't go where we are allowed or when a Trial is on 🤣
We were met with mostly happy faces including the public in the background giving the lads a cheer.
Use them or lose them and we will continue to use them and say 'Hello' to all we come across .
We thought we'd got back without anymore incidents then on the last lane Billy took a tumble, bent sprocket and damaged split link, we repaired and got him back but he'd hurt his back a bit so another get well soon matey.
Thanks again lads was a pleasure.

Sunday saw some South Yorkshire locals and a Rugby based Irish man tackle the Peaks.
A steady ride starting at 8.30 and returning at 5.30 a good 9 hours out the lads did all the best lanes with 100 miles covered and slept well that night 😁
Thanks again lads.
We are out THIS EASTER SUNDAY 2 spots left and EASTER MONDAY a possibility but no takers as yet.

Saturday saw a mixed group from Rotherham, the Midlands and as far as Brighton!
A frosty start with low lying fog meant 1 rider stayed in his warm bed instead.
An early spill meant 1 rider back to the van then his pal had to get back for him, a hospital visit followed.
Get well soon matey.
Plenty of lanes with the water crossings settled down so all passable.
A good bunch good laughs and great scenery, back around 5 after the obligatory refreshments stop.
Thanks lads for a great day.

After a late cancellation and a late late booking 3 lads from Rovrum came out for a play.
2 had found a few lanes before but after making a few mistakes wanted to know what's legal.
The day started with fine moist mist but cleared so extra lanes added as our other rider was only here last week so new bits shown.
110 miles all up and back safe returning at 6.15 after a puncture slowed our day but we still managed a pub stop.
That's it for September we're at the races next week with EDGE OFFROAD.
OCTOBER DATES filling fast so be quick.
Thanks again lads you'll sleep tonight, as I will 😴🤣
Cheers 🍻

After a steady start with a mix of riding ability to cater for we laid on a route to keep everyone happy.
We later split into 2 small groups and our 2nd guide took 1 slightly injured rider (wear knee guards) plus others onwards and I took the needy on to some extra arm stretchers.
After viewing the river run only 1 rider had the bottle to follow myself upstream then back. 😜
The water crossings are high at present which makes for sqeaky bum time should trouble arise 😂
Another rider took a tumble later on but we managed to get all the group back to basecamp in one piece through the fading light and falling fog.
A huge thanks to those that came from the seaside and travelled from darn South to sample 'Up norf' we hope you enjoyed your day and great to meet you all 😁

River run
Many thanks to those that came on our Tour today the furthest a 2 hour drive the closest a 10 minute one.
With 4 water crossings this being the longest we've seen the odd downed bike leading to plug out and drain, we had one in here but no dramas the CRF got going again no issues.
It was only a matter of time til this happened to our lead rider, nicely submerged including his body but all in a day's work.
Unfortunately no video evidence but here's a successful crossing from earlier in the day from 2 on the Tour. A chicken run is an option should anyone fancy a pass 🐔.
Thanks again lads and will possibly be running a Tour next Sunday, we will post on the page wall tomorrow late afternoon.
