It’s half term next week and we’ve got plenty to keep the little ones entertained in the school holidays.
🦁 February Half Term: Animal Handles

Animals are the inspiration for lots of designs on furniture, clothing, plates, even handles on tools! Join us for this fun, hands-on session and design your own animal-inspired handle for a spoon.

Do animals have hair? Join us and find out more about the skin, scales, hide and fur different animals have and why, then have fun with collage materials to create your own spectacular-looking creature.
✍️ February Half Term: Drawing Ruskin

Explore the Ruskin Collection, then join artist Billy Hughes to have a go at some fun and experimental ways of drawing. You can try out a variety of materials and learn one of the most important techniques of drawing – the grid.

Millennium Gallery, Kelham Island Museum and Weston Park Museum are open Tuesday to Sunday with plenty for children to explore. Graves Gallery is open Tuesday to Saturday, and Abbeydale Industrial Hamlet and Shepherd Wheel Workshop are both open weekends only. Entry is free for everyone, donations welcome.
