As part of a National Lighting of Beacons for D-Day 80, the Pen*stone Agricultural Society will be holding a FREE event on their show field on Thursday 6th June from 6.30pm onwards.

Music, food, bar, children's activities, beacon lighting at 9.15pm.

28 Pen*stone businesses are taking part, with each one donating something towards the HUGE PRIZE.
One lucky winner will win EVERYTHING below!
Maps / entry forms will be available for collection from Cafe Creme and All is Good from SATURDAY 23RD MARCH
There will be a little treat for litlle ones completing the hunt too.
This event has been self funded by the businesses taking part, as a thank you for your support.

***BIG ANNOUNCEMENT***

The Wise Donkey could have had a moment of madness but decided he wanted the OPENING DAY TO BE ON WORLD BOOK DAY AT THE NEW GROUND FLOOR SHOP!!! THURSDAY 7TH MARCH!!!

To celebrate both monumental occasions on the day…
- Buy One Get One Book Free on all story, activity, chapter & educational books! (same value/cheaper book free!)
- FREE wooden bookmark for every child
- 50p donation on behalf of every child from the The Wise Donkey to The Yorkshire Children’s Charity.
- There could even be FREE cupcakes 😉
- We will be open until 6pm so everybody at school or after school clubs can visit.

We will be now much more accessible for everybody AND there are parking spots right outside the shop (if available!).

THANK YOU for all your custom and support since we opened in December and that’s one of the main reasons we are pushing hard to get this done.

Basically every day until Christmas Day now, so plenty of opportunity to buy Belgian Blue or any of the other 200 or so beers instore and online.

Let’s talk Christmas eve.

Christmas Eve Box -
These will include
- Reindeer Hot chocolate kit (all you need is to add milk)
- Sweets and chocolate.
- Shortbread/cookie/gingerbread
- Reindeer food
- a key for Santa.
- A selection of Festive activity sheets.

This picture is just a mock up so you can get an idea for it so the box will be fuller and more festive. The cupcake will be home made. i just didn’t have any in that’s festive.

I was also thinking about doing a festive cake box. These will be a mixture of festive cakes like we did back in lockdown.

These would have to be picked up on the Saturday 23rd as we won’t be open on the christmas eve. However everything would be done fresh that morning and packaged so it would be fine for over the Christmas weekend.
