You may have heard that I have recently returned from a wonderful trip to Sri Lanka.
As well as staying in some amazing properties, we really immersed ourselves into the spirit of Sri Lanka by visiting Colombo, Dambulla cave temple, Gal Oya National Park, spent time in a monastery where we met and meditated with a hermit monk, saw wild elephants at the roadside as well as in Yala National park alongside their mates the leopards.
I feel extremely lucky and grateful for having experienced Sri Lanka with a group of likeminded colleagues whilst being hosted by one of our fabulous suppliers who share our values in making our customers’ trips the best they can be.
Sri Lanka really is so diverse. You can see cities, culture, wildlife and beaches all in one place. I’ve only touched a small part of it and I hope to one day return to see more.
