Here's a great short easy route from Low Bradfield around Damflask Reservoir. It's a mostly flat route so easy on the legs :). All the route information, including a map and GPX file here:

So we’ve been working hard this weekend ready for the crazy busy season. Injected some fun to our staircase which I’m really pleased about. . New mattresses. Re grouting the bathroom . Deep clean . Rather impressed .. and the husband and doggies managed to enjoy some lovely walks and visits to the pub opposite 🥰we should really be more selfish and not share it with our guests all the time 🤣

It’s not often we get to stay at our own cottage as it’s been so busy recently but we “pre-booked” and enjoyed a wonderful celebration in the village hall of our lovely neighbour Neil 🥰 we need to go more often 😊

So the cottage has been pretty much fully booked since we opened in April ….. amazing ! But we had a cancellation so let’s have a family weekend there ! So enjoy the plough … been a while ! Belgium Blue beer will keep Dan happy 😃

Haven’t posted on here for a while … partly because after we opened our doors again the 12th April it’s been crazy busy ! We are booked solid now (back to back ) until September . Such a contrast to closing our doors a couple of times over the last 18 months . Thank you to everyone that’s come back and to our new guests. I think one thing that will come of this mess is we do have a beautiful country … right on our doorstep . We don’t always need to go overseas 🥰
