A quaint, cosy, charming cottage in the Hamlet of Storrs. Ideally situated for the Peak District National Park and its glorious scenery.

ble.The cottage is within walking distance of the local pub where good home cooked food and local ales are served daily. Moments away from the village of Bradfield where you can enjoy Saturday afternoon cricket, afternoon tea at the old school house tea rooms, and visit the historic church of St Nicholas where you can enjoy panoramic views of the Peak District. Shops are a 3-4 minute drive away. Our aim is to make everyone's stay a cosy, home from home experience in a very relaxed, rural and peaceful environment. The cottage has a four star (4*) rating with English Country Cottages, Welcome Cottages and Derbyshire Cottages.

General information

Storrs and the neighbouring village of Dungworth are very popular with visiting musicians. The Royal Hotel in Dungworth holds regular folk nights. These are always very popular and early arrival is recommended. More information about the folk music nights can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/105374438057/?fref=ts The Royal Hotel is also famous fro traditional Carol Singing on Sunday from noon and Wednesday evenings from 7pm between Mid November and Boxing Day. This is well worth visiting the Royal Hotel for. It is one of the most moving and uplifting experiences ever.
