A beautiful place to explore with all the family. Highlights include the scenic walks around the lakes and waterfalls, large childrens play park, wildlife areas, cafe and picnic spots as well as being extremely dog friendly. How beautiful is this?!
Round Lodge as it stood in 1800, no extensions, no modernised appliances, just a little gate Lodge standing guard on the grounds of the manor house.
Its fair to say this little Lodge is now not so little and definitely equipped to house a modern family. But it's always nice to have a part of that history here with us and imagine what life must have been like.

Well, here’s an example! One of our clients - the gorgeous converted Pitcombe barn, in bruton somerset which sleeps 12 in 5 bedrooms, provides luxury comfort feathered bedding.

When one of our guests tell us they have a feather allergy, wondering whether they need to bring their own bedding? We pop to the shop and buy them suitable bedding.

“Dear guest, please don’t inconvenience yourself with the hassle, it’s your holiday after all. Please see photo of your feather free bed. Sleep well!”

I don't know about you, but when I'm booking a holiday the kids are the first ones I think about when it comes to entertainment and comfort. Because let's face it when the kids are happy mum and dad are happy. The part of the house that gets the best reviews from the children who stay is our play room and more precisely the den or "nook" which is hidden away inside what used to be a cupboard. Round Lodge is the perfect place to put a smile on pooches faces. We are totally dog friendly, no crazy rules, blankets, treats and bowls provided, fully fenced/Walled garden and miles and miles of dog walking from the door!

Congratulations to in Bruton for making it well into the top 100 of the UK National Restaurant Awards! If you love fine dining and champions of local fresh produce Osip is definitely a place to book ahead before your stay! They only plate up food that has been delivered fresh to their door that morning making sure every meal here is of the best quality and a perfection of seasonal produce.
Except from
Osip, nestled at the top of Bruton High Street, is a cosy, farm-to-table restaurant with seating capacity for just 30 guests, and was hailed at the Estrella Damm National Restaurant Awards this week for "putting the Somerset town of Bruton on the culinary map".
