As we close down the shepherd’s huts for the winter we always turn the sheep into the orchard to eat up the fallen apples which they love!

The summer of 2024 has been as busy as ever with many amazing sunset evenings spent peacefully out by the lake.
The wildlife spotting has also been great this year with the highlight being the beautiful barn owl.
As most of the cows have now moved onto pastures new we welcome back the gorgeous Shetland ponies which our guests have loved!

Huge thanks to all of our wonderful guests for supporting our family farm and coming to enjoy the beautiful countryside that we are lucky enough to live in. 💚

In all our time here at Goathill Farm we’ve never before been lucky enough to see a barn owl in daylight and posing happily to be photographed. Alan took this amazing shot at about 7.30 this evening out by the lake. 🌿

Well that’s a wrap!

We hosted our last guests of the season at the weekend & now we close up our huts for the winter.
Huge thanks to all our guests who have visited us this summer. It’s been lovely to have so many returning guests and even some who have now managed the triple and stayed in Bill’s, Edgar’s & Tom’s!

So with the beginning of my Dogs Trust tour starting tomorrow, we’ve had some incredible news from the HQ of Dogs Trust themselves who want help support and promote the tour!

They have done an incredible write up about the tour on the Dogs Trust website which I will post the link to in the comments along with the donation link.

Cannot wait to begin the tour and hopefully see some of you with your furry friends. 🐕❤️
