Definitely worth a visit during your stay at Swallows. A lovely manor house which is not too large. In fact, I feel I could live there (with a few staff of course!!) There are also some beautiful walks overlooking the Severn around Benthall Hall.

We are so lucky to live in this lovely village and enjoy welcoming visitors to Harley.

Springtime beneath Wenlock Edge - this is Harley, one of the so-called Thankful Villages, which saw all its men return home safely from the First World War. Harley is the only Thankful Village in Shropshire, and the names of all 20 men who marched off to war - and then came back again - are recorded in St Mary’s Church.
