As the summer season starts to slow down we are once again pleased to offer short breaks at Red Rose Cottage. We have availability from the 25th September for minimum three night breaks - £110* per night, sleeps five.

If you are considering a Christmas / New Years Eve getaway, come to magical Sidmouth from £175* per night (minimum three nights) and of course you can bring your pooch!

We have two weeks in August that have become available unexpectantly.
Saturday 17th August - 24th August
Saturday 24th August - 31st August

We have slashed the nightly rate from £140 to an amazing £95 per night (subject to seven night stay, Saturday changeover)

Good morning all,
Just a quick heads up - if you are considering a break in the UK this year, our summer season enquiries are coming in thick and fast, but we also have some great deals for shorter breaks in the meantime.

The East Devon town of Sidmouth is a truly beautiful Regency town that sits directly on the rugged Jurassic coast, in an area of designated natural beauty.

Being just three minutes stroll from the seafront, Red Rose Cottage is perfectly sited to enable you to explore the majesty and grandeur of the town and the surrounding area - around 15 Miles from Exeter to the west and the equally stunning seaside town of Dorset's Lyme Regis to the east.

In reality, there is so much to see and do (and places to eat & drink!) that its very likely that you'll not want to go too far - but if you do fancy a trip out you'll not be disappointed.

'This was a wonderful place to stay with everything that we needed. The cottage was homely and the welcome treats and delicious cakes was a very nice gesture from our hosts.

Happy New Year one and all - we hope that you had a splendid festive season and are now looking forward to spring.

Fantastic find and a great base.
The house was fantastic with everything you could wish for from a holiday rental. It is located in the centre of Sidmouth and provides an excellent base for local days out. There is plenty to do in Sidmouth and we really enjoyed how close it was to the sea front, only a 5 minute walk. It was a fantastic find and one that we hope to book again in the future.

This is what our guest 'Claire N' had to say:
We booked this last minute with no knowledge of the local area or what to expect. We had our socks blown off by how stunning Sidmouth and the surrounding area is, and this cottage was the perfect place from which to explore it all. The sea is no more than a 5 minute walk away, the shops and cafes and restaurants (which are great) are on your doorstep, and the river is just down the road. The children swam every day and played on the rocks and enjoyed cliff top walks and we made the very best of the last few days of summer. The cottage is well maintained and Richard goes the extra mile with the little touches (like home made chocolate cake and scones and Prosecco on arrival!) but it is also family friendly so we can all relax and unwind. 100%would recommend and want to book again.
