Maisie meets the Big Fella
🐶 Maisie meets the Big Fella...
Take a walk along Silloth seafront and catch up with the Big Fella.
He sits on his bench with his dog and watches the sea and the sunsets.
Maisie wasn't fond on her first meeting and hid from him, when she finally found the courage to face him, she had to have a bark at his dog.
Now she has met him lots of times, she's no longer scared, but just politely asks with a quiet bark for him to throw the ball and is really confused when he ignores her.

Pop into town and pick up a treat for the furry ones in your family.
From chews to biscuits, food and snacks, this treat shop stocks lots of goodies for your doggos and cats.
The shop is open Fridays and Saturdays, so plan a visit during your stay to pick up lots of treats to take home for your furry ones.
Take you furry one in and say hi, let them choose their own treat and get their photo taken for the wall.

🐶 Does your furry one have so much energy that they like to run, chase and sniff all the time?
If so, then a holiday in Silloth would be perfect for them...
With days on the huge sandy beach, exploring, sniffing and playing, to afternoons on the green with lots of space for ball games and running.

🥰 Silloth West beach is Silloth's best kept secret.
😍 Head past the port, behind the golf course, and you will find this hidden sandy beach waiting for you.
🐶 Dog friendly all year round, and quiet even in summer. The furry ones can run and sniff, paddle and explore.
👧 The little ones can build sandcastles, find pebbles and paddle in the sea.
🥪 Take a picnic when the weather is warm or pop over in the evening and watch the sunset, build a campfire and relax.
🚗 Can't make the walk, then drive down to the car-park and then make your way to the beach.

Please Note: The road to the beach is uneven and can flood in heavy rain plus those with mobility problems may find it difficult to access the beach. Also, there are no facilities on the beach

🎠 Take a break for some refreshments in the diner or head out to one of the picnic tables overlooking the sea.

😴 Welcome to the Captain's Quarters...
The master bedroom suite at Seagreen View, has a kingsize bed, en-suite shower room and walk in wardrobe.
There's room for a cot, or maybe two, with plenty of room to spare.
This room also has a smart TV, so you can relax and catch up on all those box sets and movies.
There's a dressing table and full length mirror, for when a special evening out has been planned, along with lots of storage for all your bits and bobs.
The Captain's Quarters has a view to the front of the house, where you can enjoy the colourful Silloth sunsets.
With robes, soft pillows and plush linens, this room is perfect for a great night's sleep.

🧚♂️ Make magical memories...
Plan a visit to The Fairydust Emporium Silloth during your stay in Silloth and experience this magical tearoom.
The first thing to do is book a table in advance, as this tearoom can get quite busy. You can just pop over to see if they have a free table and they will always do their best to squeeze you in, but sometimes they are just too popular.
Fairydust is on Eden street in town, that's the cobbled street with Winter's on the corner. It's opposite the Bank and has some outdoor seating for when the weather is fair.
Once inside, speak to the friendly ladies behind the counter and they will show you to your table. You may be lucky enough to meet the Queen of Fairydust, Vicky, the happiest pink haired lady you could ever wish to meet.
The menu is extensive, with sandwiches and cake, breakfast or waffles, and once you have chosen, you ring the bell to order.
The little ones will love Fairydust, with the gnomes and fairies, sparkles and glitter. Keep them entertained with the toys and let them take a turn of ringing the bell.
The furry ones are just as welcome as the humans, with their famous Puppachino, cooked sausages and fresh drinking water.
Fairydust is our 'go to' place of comfort. Whether it's breakfast, lunch or just tea and cake, we always head for Fairydust and relax.
But something more special than the fairies and gnomes, cakes and treats, is the special memories all our guests have made with a visit to Fairydust. The laughter, the smiles, the much-needed time together.

BRING THE DOGS ALONG...
We are often asked if we welcome the furry ones at Seagreen, and the answer is a huge YES!!!!!
For us, Maisie is a part of our family, wherever she goes, we go, wherever we sit, she sits and wherever she sleeps, we sleep. 🤣
As i write this post, Maisie is at my side and I wouldn't have it any other way.
So when it comes to holidays, Maisie has to feel welcome and at home so we can relax.
Seagreen is truly dog welcoming, from the dog beds in the family room to the bowls in the kitchen, and even a toy box for them to rummage through during their stay.
The furry ones can explore every room and nap wherever they choose and feel safe in the garden.
The local beach is dog friendly all year round and the town welcomes dogs with open arms, and being only 40 minutes drive from the Lakes means you can go on adventures every day.
Your furry ones will get their own welcome basket on arrival with treats and toys, biscuits and towels. There is an outside tap for rinsing off paws and we have a garden light for those late night toilet breaks.
Don't forget that we welcome up to 8 dogs at no extra charge as it's their holiday too.
