The tower is 15th century and was described by a noted writer on the history and architecture of the county’s churches as ‘one of the most beautiful in Kent’. Sunday morning spent getting Old Post ready for it latest guest arrivals. Then a lovey afternoon with my dad and sister down at Faversham Antiques market (usually held on 1st Sunday of the month). Dad managed to find a lovely print of Thames Barges from a stall in the Guildhall. We had wonder down Abbey Street, discovering more architectural hidden gems (even though we’ve walked down there loads times there’s alway something new to discover). Then stocked up on some fabulous spice mixes from @saltandspiceglobalflavourings had lunch in the cafe and a mooch around @kentish_rascal_antiques who has a cute 1949 tricycle just like my dad had as a kid! Matt you’ve done an amazing job on it - even finding the right tyres for it. Just love Faversham. You never know what you might find! Local or visitor there’s always something to see and discover.
