Book direct Old Post Cottage (sleeps 4) and Candy Cottage (sleeps 3) are 2 charming self catering holiday cottages in the heart of the Kent village of Rodmersham Green, opposite the village pond, green and open countryside. The cottages are beautifully furnished throughout. The cottages were built in 1860; on

e used to be the old post office and village shop, the other a farm workers cottage. Full of traditional features including pine flooring and doors, it is the perfect base for exploring Kent throughout the year. A special feature is the cosy sitting rooms, where large comfortable sofas provide the perfect place to relax and enjoy the ambience of the Kent countryside. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated, providing a calm and peaceful anbience, ensuring your stay is truly memorable.

Treat yourself to a winter/Christmas break. We’ve just had weekend guests who’ve done just that. A couple of nights away in one of our cosy cottages, popped into the village pub for dinner and drinks by the roaring logs fires followed by breakfast in the village coffee shop. What a lovely break 😊🎄🍷

In the long run moving out whilst the work is going on can be good not just for the sanity of all involved but also financially. It could be just a week or maybe longer…
