Well done Girls, Fantastic performance 👏 ⚫⚪

Corby Lynx U9s travelled to Crick this morning for a 10.30KO in the sunshine.

From the first minute Corby showed good energy. Frankie took control of the ball, dribbling past 2 players and cool as you like slotting past the keeper.
Corby were quick to every ball, putting the pressure on Crick which resulted in Frankie gaining possession and setting Emily for her first goal of the game.
Crick pulled a goal back from a free kick which gave them a burst of energy and quickly got another goal back.
Corby continued to dominate in midfield, winning their duels and attacking with purpose.
The second half continued with high energy, Corby chasing the ball down and always looking to attack.
Some lovely play down the left released Ivy, taking the defender on and playing the ball across for Emily to finish.
Ivy and Annabelle also got on the scoresheet In the second half, with some great finishes.
Corby took most of their opportunities in the second half with confidence but they found the Crick goalkeeper and defence in good form and making it difficult throughout the game.
A great game of football this morning from two very competitive teams.
