Guess what happened this weekend?

We had our first proposal at the hut 🤩💍

This has been months in the making with our lovely guest working with us to create the perfect weekend.

They had an early check in, the proposal happened, they then had a few hours relaxing in the hot tub and finally we recommended they celebrate at the lovely La Caveau which meant we had time to sneak in and decorate the hut ready for their return.

It was perfect 🩷

“The Little Hut was a perfect little retreat for myself who desperately needed some rest. Emma had great communication before my trip and during. The hut was clean and tidy and well equipped with everything you would need on a stay and it was so comfortable.

The hut is so cute and caputures the HYGGE feeling. Totally worth getting the add ons. I really enjoyed my BBQ box. The hot tub is bliss. I loved watching the sun set and sunrise in the tub.

I felt safe to stay here alone and it was the rest i needed. I was overwhelmed by the stars at night as everything was so clear. I cant wait to book a trip next year. Thank you for a great weekend and treat box”

Morning all,

The last of the snow has finally disappeared from up here. As lovely as it is, I do like not having to clear the lane, although it is a great workout 😜

I just wanted to say a big thank you for keeping me busy this month, winter can be a bit quieter in hospitality but that’s not the case here in Elslack and we really appreciate you all.

One of the things our guests love to do is explore the local walks…so we thought we would share our top 5 💫

(You will find all the Information on the local area in our digital guidebook when you have booked your stay)

1. Elslack Woods - it had to be #1, starting from the doorstep of the hut you can make this walk as long or short as you like. You can take in the view of the reservoir from above and hopefully spot some local wildlife.

2. Broughton Hall Estate - There are some fab walks around the estate, our favourite starting from
where you can explore the estate and finish of with some lovely lunch at the pub…win win.

3. Skipton woods - This is a must when visiting, hidden behind one of the most well preserved castles in Britain, is this ancient woodland, perfect for nature lovers.

4. Bolton Abbey Estate - you will be spoilt for choice at , with so many walks to choose from within the 30000 acres. We recommend having a wander around the priory and finish the walk with afternoon tea at the pavilion.

5. Embsay Reservoir & Embsay Crag - something for all abilities, for a gentle stroll the route round the reservoir is perfect or if you fancy seeing some beautiful views climb the crag, you won’t be disappointed. Free parking at the reservoir car park is a bonus.

It’s extra cosy in the hut with the underfloor heating, winter duvet, extra blankets & heater and the most important thing….hot chocolate & marshmallows 😋

We have stayed in a few huts and this was the best, all the little details that Emma had thought of just made it.

The beautiful hut was so clean and smelt amazing it was just perfect.

I would definitely recommend for anyone to book this little hut it was just what we needed to re charge.

Absolutely perfect. Thank for you the little surprise when we opened the fridge.

How are we in to the November already?

Just to keep you all up to date, we are now fully booked for the rest of the year. We are taking a couple of weeks out in December to refresh the hut & are now taking bookings for 2024 ✨

The hut is now up to date with the latest fire regulations that have been brought in for holiday accommodation.
