Bowland Fell Accessible Holidays

We are excited to share that we have joined the Holistic Thinking Holidays family in the management of our accessible holiday home now named Horton .

As part of the move we have added a ceiling tracked H hoist into the master bedroom and also added in a single profiling bed which will support more people in having a great holiday.

Booking can be made direct through their website and we look forward to seeing some of our previous customers returning.

The Settle Bus and Clitheroe Bus are now coming into the park and pickup is outside of The Crowtrees Inn.

A single journey either direction is £2-00 and currently cash only.

In the upcoming weeks they are looking into card transactions 😊

This newly reinstated bus service starting from Clitheroe and travelling through Whitewell, Dunsop Bridge, Newton-In-Bowland, Slaidburn, Tosside, Wigglesworth, Settle and all the way up to Horton In Ribblesdale, is a great way to explore the Hodder Valley!

Prices are £60 per night with a minimum 5 night stay.

We also welcome up to 2 dogs in the caravan at no extra charge.

We ask for a £50 security deposit which is refundable upon your departure providing no damages are incurred.

Did you know we have a Tramper you can borrow at Malham Tarn? This all-terrain mobility scooter is available to support less mobile visitors to explore the countryside around Malham Tarn.

We have one Tramper which is available on weekdays 10am – 2pm and some Saturdays (29 July, 5, 12, 19, 26 August) during the summer holidays.

Booking is essential and we recommend you book well in advance, ideally a minimum of two days before your planned visit.

Do you know anyone who has limited mobility that might restrict their access to the beautiful Bowland countryside? If so, the Tramper may be one way to help! The Tramper is a specially designed, all-terrain electric buggy, which can be used off road and on rough ground, mud and grass. There is one available to hire at Gisburn Forest Cafe for a beautiful route from the Hub to Stocks Reservoir and one available via Sabden community volunteers, with a route taking in the wonderful views at Churn Clough Reservoir.
