Today's Throwback Thursday is to Skipton Auction Mart in 1986 🐑 The building in the old black and white photo might look familiar... That's because the old auction mart was once where Morrisons supermarket now stands!

In Skipton, we have a famous connection to sheep - our town name is derived from the Old English Sceap Tun, meaning "Sheep Town"! 🐏 This heritage lives on through our thriving livestock market at CCM Auctions Skipton Auction Mart Livestock Auctioneers and the local farmers who are such a big part of our rural community.

Ring in the Spring Equinox with an immersive Yin Yoga and Soundbath class on Sunday 23rd March 3-6pm at Balanced Life Physiotherapy, with qualified yoga teacher and physiotherapist Claire.

Yin postures are held for 3-5 minutes, using props for support, to relax the muscles and let the connective tissue (joints, ligaments & fascia) take the stress. This helps improve circulation, energy flow, range of motion and sustainability 🧘🏽‍♀️

Teas, fruit and cakes included. Suitable for beginners. Mat and props provided, though you may choose to bring your own cushion/blanket. Free Parking is available behind High Corn Mill for the duration of the session, you just need to enter your registration number when you arrive at the studio.
