Street Head Farm is an award-winning holiday cottage situated just outside Skipton, on the edge of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. With space for 10 people, an idyllic setting in open farmland and oodles of attractions on the doorstep, it offers the perfect destination for family holidays, get-togethers/reunions, or celebrating a special occasion. Great care has been taken to retain Street Head’s o

riginal charm, whilst providing all the facilities and home comforts for a true ‘home from home’ relaxing break. Think stone flagged floors, old fireplaces, exposed beams, stone mullioned windows and window seats to sit and admire the views. Downstairs you'll find a large sitting room with comfy sofas and log burning stove, a spacious kitchen extending onto a large dining area with traditional pine table and chairs, a second sitting room stocked with children's toys and opening onto the rear garden, a downstairs bathroom, twin bedroom (great for older relatives or anyone who struggles with stairs) and a utility room. Upstairs there are two double master bedrooms (one with en-suite shower room), two twin rooms, and a house bathroom. Truly something to write home about, views extend many miles down the Aire valley - you have to see it for yourself. You'll often pull back the curtains to see rabbits, hares, curlews, owls, or the resident cows and sheep. Soak it all in with a coffee on a frosty morning or a glass of wine at sunset! You've got wifi, TVs & DVD, logs for the fire, even farm fresh milk on arrival. There's garden furniture and BBQ, and plenty of outdoor space so kids (big or small!) can let their hair down and enjoy the fresh Yorkshire air. Great news!

Following the publication of the Government’s roadmap we are pleased to confirm that we are planning to hold the Great Yorkshire Show on 13-15 July 2021.

This will of course have to be reviewed regularly and is based on the assumption that the whole country successfully moves from the current lockdown to step 4 in the Government’s roadmap on the 21st June.

We will only go ahead with the Show if we can do so safely for all concerned.

We are exploring what the show can safely include and further details, including ticket sales, will be announced in due course.
