The Charms of Croatia….🇭🇷

At 1915 precisely, we crossed the border into Lincolnshire.

All passengers safely returned at the end of a great holiday.

Be sure to join us to Croatia again in 2025. Details to follow shortly.

Day 10 of 11

The Charms of Croatia…..🇭🇷

After a night in Bavaria with torrential rain ☔️ , we escaped rather damp. Thankfully as we headed through Germany 🇩🇪, the weather dried up but still felt rather chilly at just 8c. 🥶

As we arrived into France the blue skies became a lot clearer and after 377 miles at 1700 we arrived at our final overnight stop for this tour. 🇫🇷

OO22 has been washed, cleaned and prepared for the last leg of the journey and we are now celebrating a huge win for Forest 🤗⚽️

Tomorrow we head for home 🥳☹️

Day 9 of 11…🇭🇷

Charms of Croatia, Lake Bled and The Adriatic

Well…. What a day!!! Regrettably we left our lovely coastal hotel behind this morning and commenced the first leg of our homeward journey.

We crossed the border back into Slovenia enjoying a lovely lengthy stop by the shores of Lake Bled, sadly the weather wasn’t in our favour and a very cool 11c.

Continuing the journey through the Karawanken & Tauern Tunnels, the weather continued to deteriorate with snow falling. What a shock at 6c 🥶 after the beautiful Hot and Sunny days 😎 we were blessed with on the Istrian Coastline.

We enjoyed a scenic detour away from the motorway to avoid horrendous delays due to the inclement weather and roadworks.

Thankfully we arrived at our excellent overnight hotel bang on schedule at 1800. Our group are now relaxing and chatting away over Dinner.

Tomorrow we continue up through Germany and back into France for our final nights rest.

Charms of Croatia 🇭🇷

A slightly disappointing day weather wise although never chilly, quite warm tbh, a little rough at sea and very wet at times.

Another free day allowing our group to relax, unwind and prepare for the first leg of our homeward journey tomorrow back to the excellent Hotel zur Post Rohrdorf.

CARD MACHINE UPDATE: ALL SYSTEMS NOW OPERATIONAL 🤞

Modern Technology! We have just been informed that Clover (our card machine provider) is having a major outage. This unfortunately means that we are temporarily unable to process any card payments.

Hopefully their engineering team will fix the issue quickly and as soon as it is back up and running we will update you.

Charms of Croatia….. 🇭🇷

Today we enjoyed a visit to the beautiful old town of Rovinj, travelling alongside the Lim Fjord then onwards to the costal village of Vrsar before returning to our hotel for a relaxing afternoon.

Another very warm day with temperatures at 28/29c 🥵

Tomorrow we are able to enjoy another free day before commencing our homeward journey on Friday.

Charms of Croatia….

Today we travelled further down into Croatia to the ancient city of P**a 🏟️

A very warm day 😎🥵

This afternoon we enjoyed our rearranged boat cruise along the Istrian Coast. We even managed to see a dolphin 🐬 but couldn’t get our cameras to hand quick enough.

Our group may have been offered a beverage or two during the cruise, just to liven them up a little 🤣🥂

Today was a very strange day. Sadly our planned boat cruise was postponed due to the weather forecast and sea conditions. So another free day to relax was the order of the day.

Our group could enjoy the excellent spa and leisure facilities on offer in our hotel.

As the day progressed, the weather got better and better thankfully.

Tomorrow we head to P**a 🇭🇷

Day 3 of 11 🇭🇷

Charms of Croatia ….

Today we travelled from Germany, through Austria and Slovenia into Croatia…. Enjoying beautiful scenery along the way with glorious weather too 🗻😎

We arrived at our selected 4* beachfront hotel by 1640 to be welcomed with a glass of fizz 🥂

Our group have enjoyed a wonderful buffet dinner and are now settling into their hotel surroundings for the next week.

Tomorrow we can enjoy a free day in the resort of Porec. 🥳

Day 2 of 11 🇭🇷

Charms of Croatia, The Adriatic Coast & Lake Bled

We’ve travelled 382 miles today from our hotel in France to our excellent overnight hotel in Bavaria, South Germany staying in the lovely, traditional village of Rohrdorf and the beautiful Hotel zur Post Rohrdorf.

We enjoyed a great stop off for lunch at one of our favourite spots… Seligweiler Hotel & Restaurants where we were welcomed with open arms and some of us sampled a traditional Wiener Schnitzel with fried potatoes and a delicious mushroom sauce 😋

Our group are now relaxing and chatting away over Dinner before a beer in the evening sunshine of the biergarten.

Tomorrow after breakfast we continue through the picture postcard scenery of Austria, Slovenia and into Croatia to enjoy a week by the shores of the Adriatic Coast.

Day 1 of 11… “The Big One” 🇭🇷

Charms of Croatia, The Adriatic Coast & Lake Bled

After the usual early start from Lincolnshire, we enjoyed an effortless transition through the port of Dover in just 28 minutes from arrival to departure of the ferry.

We had a great run down from Dunkirk, making the 527 mile journey through France, Belgium, Luxembourg and back into France in just under 12.5 from Lincolnshire.

Our group are now relaxing over dinner and look forward to a restful evening. Tomorrow we continue through Germany to our second overnight stop in Bavaria.
