As it's getting colder Dora just wanted to send our a reminder that we give out FREE bags of duck food here at Navigation House.

Ducks that don't migrate this time of year will need plenty of extra food to get them through the colder months. They will burn more energy to keep warm so the food helps them with this.

Pick up a bag or two when you next visit us!

There's a thrifty and eco-friendly event coming up this Saturday - don't miss the Nearly New Christmas Pop-Up Shop in North Hykeham

Community members have organised a Nearly New Christmas Pop Up shop this Saturday at Hykeham Social Club, (153 Moor Lane, North Hykeham) with the aim of helping residents spend less while benefitting the environment this Christmas. Councillor Roe will be taking part in a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10.30am, with festivities, tea and cake, and shopping to commence soon after.

This year organisers have been gifted a large number of children toys, clothes and Christmas puzzles (either new, or in great condition), alongside the usual Christmas decorations, gifts, raffle and kids tombola.

What a great initiative, and we love to see it. Happy planet-friendly shopping!
