A recent happy guest!

Becky’s house is beautiful! Very big, spacious, equipped with everything you need. The kitchen is huge and it was great cooking there. It really feels as though every little detail is well thought of.

There is also a big garden and 2 parking spaces. The house feels truly “homey” (and Becky even added sweet touches with some Christmas decorations).
We were two families and we had ample space. The kids also had a wonderful time with an abundance of games that are thoughtfully offered in the house.
Great value for money!

Great day at Barrington Pottery yesterday. They do whole and half day taster sessions, a delicious locally supplied lunch, and you get to keep five of the pots you make. Well worth a visit when staying at Number Five.

My guests this weekend, a few nights at the festival with their little one, then brought him back to Number 5 to be looked after by his grandparents while they went back in! Just 30 mins from the festival gates, we have had pre Glasto guests, during Glasto guests and post Glasto ones due to arrive tomorrow!

Our family loves getting together at holiday homes, so today we tested Number 5, my Dad even made bread and butter pudding! Only thing we found missing was a doggy water bowl - ordered!

Our roomy bedrooms, two doubles, a family room with a double and a single bed plus a double sofa bed in the sitting room. We sleep 9 people comfortably plus up to two dogs 🦮🐕‍🦺

Looking forward to the garden this summer, we have done a lot of cutting back to let the light in on our shasta daisies, peonies and sweet peas. The garden is very private and a south facing sun trap! ☀️☀️☀️
