Deer's Leap Retreat is situated in North Devon, nestled on the edge of Exmoor National Park. We offer the Farmhouse, 2 Cottages and Glamping.

Enjoy our beautiful grounds, lake, all season tennis court and stunning views. Our farmhouse provides all the cosy home comforts and modern conveniences you could wish for – beamed ceilings and inglenook fireplaces to curl up in front of. A large farmhouse kitchen for catching up with friends and family over a toasty cuppa by the AGA. For complete relaxation with have two hot tubs and a sauna. Our

cottages also have hot tubs, well equipped kitchens, cosy living areas and spacious bedrooms. Enjoy secluded beautiful grounds to unwind from daily life, sunsets by the lake with Champagne in hand, or star gazing from our patio, keeping warm by a fire pit, or maybe a traditional afternoon tea in our lakeside gazebo. Deer’s Leap also has an abundance of wild birds, pheasants, buzzards and lots of domestic animals too. Everything you need is right here for a peaceful holiday, getting away from all of life’s stress.

There are hand-built wooden steps that lead to our tennis court, which is open year-round. If you're not interested in playing tennis, the space is perfect for children to play or ride their bikes. And if none of those activities interest you, perhaps you'd like to take a dip in one of the Farmhouse or Hartford Cottage hot tubs or relax in the Farmhouse sauna. Utter bliss!

Take a deep breath in, you have arrived. These stunning views can be seen from the grounds of Deer's Leap. Located in Exmoor, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), there are numerous walking trails that you can embark on right from Deer's Leap doorstep.

Once you reach Deer's Leap, you will instantly experience a sense of tranquility. The property has vast grounds that you and your dear ones can wander around, and there's also our wooden gazebo situated next to the lake. The gazebo was intricately crafted by the proprietor, James, with great care and attention to detail.
