Surge Protectors! After hurricane Ernesto, we must remind you that surge protectors can protect your air conditioning units, preventing you from spending money on replacement parts for damaged units from electrical surges. If you do lose power during a storm, you can remove the fuses from your attached disconnect box to prevent a surge when the power comes back on.
