Since the lockdown was announced, the kids and I have made a few science experiments.
This time, we wanted to try to make a bouncy egg š„
As we were at home, we could have a closer look at how the egg was changing and we loved the result!!
Next time weāll try with a hard boiled egg to see the difference.
I hope you like it.

Wash wash wash your hands.
Just as you would do it when you have a cold š
Sometimes just because we want to shop faster or because our children are having a āmomentā at the shop, we put them in the trolley. But the true is that they are heavy and itās not as easy as before. š²
Imagine, the state of my back if I lift them every time.
Iām sure this #MummyHack will help you too. Use it wisely š

Yesterday it was pouring and we couldnāt get out from the house.
To keep the kids busy (at leat for a while) we made these cookies.
They are really easy and fast to bake.
They love touching the dough and it was ideal as they have to make little round balls. š
I hope you like it and get to make it with your kids.

Today in Mexico, we celebrate the Day of the Dead.
For us, the Day of the Death is beyond a tradition. Is to promote the perpetuity of the love ones that are not longer with us and celebrate them.
By eating its traditional and sweet bread, we share a special moment with them and let them know how grateful we are.
Hoping our love for them keeps us together, no matter the distance.
By sharing stories of their favourite dish and drink, we welcome them to our table to enjoy one last meal with them.
We honour death as we enjoy life.
We humbly get together, to pay respect to those who sowed and built memories that make us who we are today.
Our tradition is unique and we celebrare it with delicious tastes, lights, music, colour and many more just to spend one more day with the death.

Please watch Coco the movie. So you can understand a little bit more what Iām talking about.
Hi!
My kids love making (and eating) this recipe.
It is inspired on one of my friendās. We made it for the first time when it was blackberries season as we didnāt know what to do with the harvest and since then, weāve been making it for their snack, as a pudding for their lunch box and even for my husbandās mid day coffee š
Weāve used blackberries, pears, apples and strawberries (sometimes all that mixed as we donāt have enough of each) and the flavour kicks in really good.
I made a little video for you to make it too. You can find this recipe and more on my Instagram channel (hence the vertical position of the video š)
I hope you enjoy them as much as we do! (Txs Emma for the recipe)

Experiments for kids: Painting with milk
Hi.
Last weekend was raining and we stayed at home with the kids. You know how chaotic that could get.
So, I digged in my book of experiments for kids I want to try and found this one. Luckily it was so simple that I had all the ingredients at home.
They had so much fun and the result is beautiful. Your can use it for decorating, as a card and many more.
I hope you like it. Don't forget that you can find me too on YouTube and at.

My son started school this year and this time we were asked to avoid any snacks containing egg.
That left me with not too many options from the groceries shop, to go with fruit (as I always send their snack pot with 1/2 & 1/2) and balance my 3 kids snacks.
So I tried a few recipes at home and this one was the winner.
Try not to over mix the batter because it wonāt rise and donāt use muffinās cases, as it doesnāt have any greasy ingredient and it will be hard to take it off
Enjoy!
Experiments for kids: Rainbow rain cloud
Hi
For us, this weekend is the last one before going back to school.
We had an amazing summer. I can not complain...it was beautiful, hot and clear. When we came back from our holidays, it was raining and my kids didn't fully understand why it does rain. Bless them, itās so easy to forget rain (specially in this country that rains almost every day).
So, me along with them made this experiment that can help explaining it and it's also fun.
Try it at home, you don't need much.
Donāt forget to subscribe to my YouTube channel & share the video if you like it š
Have a lovely weekend!!
