Did you know that among our great selection of independent local restaurants we have Restaurant Roots with 3 AA rosettes to its name.

They were rated in the UK's top 100 restaurants this year (Harden's Guide) and we're so lucky to have it within walking distance of our holiday lets.

If you're looking for somewhere special to enjoy a great pre Christmas stay combined with great food then do check them and us out for late availability options.

This is Restaurant Roots £59 lunch menu - available Fridays and Saturdays. Sundays they do an exceptional roast. Fantastic wine pairings too.

“Would not change a thing!!!”

It was Lisa & her family’s first stay at Hengistbury Reach (3 adults/1 teen/1 dog); 3nts for a pre Christmas family break by the sea & to visit nearby Bournemouth Christmas Tree Winderland & Market.

Having found us on Airbnb they already know to next time which ensures no third party booking fees & ensures best prices.

Having received a last minute cancellation we currently have availability from tomorrow through until next Monday (9th) with minimum booking being 2 nights. We also have some availability between 14th-22nd Dec.

Our 2025 booking diary is also now open with repeat guests already having secured 13 weeks.

Took our 3yr old granddaughter to Discovery Village Role Play Centre. We love to test out and support new local businesses and can highly recommend this one, whether in the lead up to Christmas ( we & they still have some availability) or as a great indoor attraction anytime throughout the year 👍

This has become something of a tradition for us on Christmas morning……why not join us and c1000 others for the Christmas Day dip…. Stourcliffe Retreat has availability for a minimum 5nt break to include Christmas Day ( availability between 14th-27th Dec) ….Hengistbury Reach is fully booked for Christmas 2024 but I’ve just opening the booking diary for Christmas 2025…

Although we host the White Christmas Dip at Boscombe Beach, did you know dippers come from all over the UK to take part!

If getting out in the open is more your thing then as well as blue flag sandy beaches you can explore Hengistbury Head and The New Forest.

We have two wonderful holiday lets to choose from, both have been finished and decorated to a very high standard.

Stourwood Corner in central Southbourne within 5min walk of beach and high street, is a spacious character, three large bedroom, two bathroom, ground floor accommodation with separate kitchen and reception room and the perfect choice for family/extended family stays.
