Hael Farm Cottage:
The open plan living area is located above the sleeping accommodation. Two sets of french doors afford extensive views over the surrounding countryside.

The kitchen area has a full range of modern appliances with a utility area adjacent with washing machine and tumble dryer. A log burner offers a focal point for the sitting area which is equipped with wall mounted flat screen TV, Sky, and internet access. The ground floor sleeping accommodation consists of a double bedroom, twin bedroom with ensuite bathroom, and a single bedroom. The fully tiled bathroom includes a shower and a shaver point. The double and twin bedrooms have french windows opening out onto a paved area. The cottage has a garden area complete with barbeque and views across the fields. The cottage is in a secluded location, with the nearest house ¼ mile away, except for the owner’s farm house which is adjacent. It is approached down a farm track and bridle path, which opens out into the farm yard, with a natural duck pond . Ivy Cottages:
Ivy Cottages are located in the picturesque village of Port Eynon, situated just 100 metres from the award winning beach. The semi detached cottages sleep 6 (Oxwich View) and 8 people (Port Eynon Beach) respectively or can be rented together for larger groups of up to 14 people. Both cottages have Freeview TV, wifi internet connection and a wood burner. Both cottages also offer outside seating areas and enclosed gardens. Oxwich View:
Oxwich View Cottage has three bedrooms; one king bedroom with ensuite, one double bedroom and one twin. In addition there is a family bathroom and downstairs cloakroom. The fully equipped kitchen includes electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. The lounge and dining area is tastefully and warmly furnished for maximum comfort and enjoyment. Port Eynon Beach:
Port Eynon Beach Cottage has three bedroom on the first floor; one king bedroom with ensuite, one double and one twin and one family bathroom. The ground floor contains one more double bedroom with ensuite. The living accommodation includes a fully equipped fitted kitchen, and separate lounge and dining area. Whitebridge Cottage:
Whitebridge Cottage can also be found in Port Eynon, just a stones throw away from the beach. The cottage features one double bedroom with ensuite, a further double bedroom, one twin (with additional bunkbeds) and one family bathroom. The downstairs comprises of living room with wood burner, dedicated work area, cloakroom, large kitchen/diner and utility room. The fully equipped modern kitchen offers the perfect place for family gatherings. The cottage also offers an outside seating area, enclosed garden and parking for 2 cars.

"From the moment I booked, Debbie was always contactable and very responsive. She is the perfect host. The house was immaculate and exactly as described. It has everything you could want and more. Loads of cutlery, glasses and crockery, so no need to wash mugs every time you want to make a hot drink! Plenty of loo roll, bin bags etc and lots of little extras. The house was spotless, and the use of a dishwasher and washing machine really made a difference. The location is right where it’s all happening - the Ship Inn across the road is welcoming, and the food is excellent, yet very peaceful. Walk 2-3 mins towards the sea, and there are takeaway fish & chips, a mini store, cafe etc And of course, the most beautiful beach, with lots of surrounding walks. We enjoyed a day out on the bus to Rhossili Bay, so we could all enjoy a drink and excellent fish & chips at the Worms Head Hotel. We’d return in a heartbeat!"

The house is easy to find and well situated to the Gower and Swansea. The house itself was clean, tidy and well-appointed, and we very much enjoyed having the log burner crackling away in the evenings. Jon and Julie were attentive hosts, and the welcome basket full of local goodies was a thoughtful touch. We would certainly love to stay again"

Looking for something to do this weekend ? are recommending the Gower Cheese & Cider Festival at The Gower Heritage Centre.

Love cheese? Love cider? Then the Cheese & Cider weekend is the food festival for you!
From Friday 17th May to Sunday 19th May, the Gower Cheese and Cider Festival offers visitors a wide selection of locally produced, award-winning cheeses, ciders and perries.

Tickets for the Cheese and Cider Festival May 2024 can be purchased online. Along with this you will need to purchase an over-night parking ticket for each night of the event also if necessary (online too).

Friday 17th May 2024- 17.00pm to 23.00pm and Saturday 18th May 2024 – 11.30am until late and Sunday 19th May 2024 10.00am to 17.00pm.

A rather wet ☔walk prior to the sun ☀appearing last week!
Although today it has certainly gone back into hiding! ☔☔

Parked at Oxwich Bay and walked the 3.5 miles along the coastal path to Port Eynon. Making your way through the Oxwich Nature Reserve, be prepared for the 300+ stairs you have to climb, past Slade Bay and onto Port Eynon.

Visit Wales are looking for dogs to star in their new ad campaign tailored for tails, showcasing Cymru as the place to take your pooch on holiday this year.

Whether they’re running across the sand at Rhossili, doing tricks on top of a mountain in Bannau Brycheiniog, or even enjoying a puppiccino in Porthmadog, they want to see your pooch put their best paw forward.

There are only a few coveted spots up for grabs and shortlisted dogs will be revealed on our social channels before a panel of advertising experts will decide who will make the "ultimutt" cut.

To put your dog forward for the chance to be involved, simply post a photo or video to your social media story of them in their favourite Welsh spot using the hashtag , and describe what they love about that spot. Make sure to tag and in your story too!

We always say “just two minutes to the beach” and now we know it’s true!
