Update on Laura’s progress- She has now reached Karanga Camp and is having a well deserved rest. Missing the Barranco Wall and the jump above the clouds - ✅ ✅

Big day tomorrow!! She will head off for Barafu camp and and all going well arrive early afternoon to then prepare for the push for the Summit tomorrow night. Great stuff Laura 👏👏🙌👍👍❤️👊

Hats off to this young lady!! 👊🏻👊🏻Laura arrived in Tanzania on the 1st of Jan and was supposed to be in a group of 4 other trekkers. Due to flight cancellations and health issues, the other 3 were not able to join her- so she decided to go it alone!! Before setting off for the mountain, Laura spent some time with the little guys at the Faraja Orphanage which we support.

Laura has now started Day 4 today of her 7 day trek via the Machame Route- she is doing really well and has already tackled Lava Tower, Barranco Wall and now has the Summit in her sights! Well done Laura- great achievement already! Keep going👍👍❤️👊

What goes up must come down!! Everyone concentrates on getting to the Summit but seldom mentioned that coming down is really tough!!! 5 days up and just 1.5 days to get down.

Here we go guys!!! Game is On!! April & Jason have got to Barafu Camp! They are going strong and now preparing for the push to the Summit tonight. Gear checks, briefings all done. They will set off at around 11:30pm ( 8:30 pm UK) ( 11:30am USA -LA)

All going well they will be on the Roof of Africa for Christmas Day 🎄🎄🎉🎉👍👍👏👏😎😎

Day 4- Got to give April & Jason a massive credit for their efforts already! The weather has not been on their side but they are DOING IT!! They made it to Karanga Camp after smashing Lava Tower and Barranco Wall. The Summit is now in their reach. Tomorrow they will set off for Barafu Camp - last stop before the summit.

Tomorrow night they will go for it. Good luck guys. You’ve got this👍👍👏👏😎😎

Day 2 today for April & Jason! The weather is not playing game but they are singing in the rain!

They have now reached Machame Camp. Tomorrow is the push for Lava Tower and a test of the altitude. Keep going guys- Lunch at 4600m awaits you tomorrow👍👍👏👏😎😎

Day 5 - These guys are amazing!!! They have endured some pretty harsh weather conditions but they have smashed it! Lava Tower- no problem! Barranco Wall - no problem!!

Now they have made it to Barafu Camp. Next stop the SUMMIT! They will set off tonight at 11:30pm (8:30 pm UK time for all friends and family) and will hopefully be at the Summit for sunrise - good luck guys- Dig Deep 🙏🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Day 3 for Amelia, Reece, Joe & Phil ! Despite the adverse weather conditions they are going strong and spirits are high. Today they will be heading through the clouds to Lava Tower at 4600m - the first real test of altitude and then make their way down to Barranco Camp. Good luck guys🙏🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Kicking off the new season we have Amelia, Reece, Joe & Phil starting their Summit 2 Safari & Beach Adventure with a 7 Day trek to the Summit of Kilimanjaro via the Machame Route.
