Not easy to talk about the Chapel when a pipe band takes over the place !
The Comrie Pipe Band were brilliant today, this tune is called Highland Cathedral .
Busy day at the peedie local auction mart today, The annual bull sale was held along with a dispersal sale of breeding cows from a local farm. I think it was 26 bulls sold , plus around 35 cows.
Some very good prices for the sellers, We bought 3 cows for our own herd .

Early morning at the Brough of Birsay .. sound on !
A short video of the Rotary parlour at Pole in operation, it takes 8 minutes to rotate fully , I think Hannah said 32 cows and if the udder isnt empty after that, the parlour holds the cow in place and she does a second rotation .
My group started singing in the Italian Chapel today , Video taken by Linda, one of the group. A great friendly group of 28 mostly from the US with a few from Australia too.
A windy day in Orkney, especially out at Skara Brae and at the Brough of Birsay.

My guests and I had been hearing the pings from the app all day, but had never managed to catch up with the dolphins or whales around the coastline, I dropped them back to their ship and headed home !
Pretty far away as I only had my phone, but lovely to watch for about 20 minutes.
The cloud before the thunderstorm today … some welcome rain cooled the air.
The water wheel at the Barony Mill , when running at full capacity, it produces 40 hp !

What a grand start to the day at the Broch of Gurness with Maureen. After yesterdays gales , today was a breath of fresh air !

A grand day out with the Golden Girls today , the sun shone, the icecreams were lovely and Skara Brae was relatively quiet ! And we sang …. Volume on ladies !
